Install the Ploybot CLI in a minute

ploybot is a single executable for macOS, Linux and Windows. It connects Claude Code, Codex or OpenCode to your agents' MCP, calls their tools, approves what is pending and sets things up from the terminal.

A mesh of lines and binary digits on a light blue background

The Ploybot console handles almost everything, but some things are better done from the terminal: connecting Claude Code or Codex to an agent, calling a tool to try it, approving what is pending without opening the browser, or registering an API from a script. That is what ploybot, the CLI, is for.

What you need

A 64-bit system: macOS (Apple Silicon or Intel), Linux (x86-64 or ARM64) or Windows (x86-64). It is a single executable: no Node, no npm, no dependencies to install.

Install

On macOS and Linux, the same command on any machine:

curl -fsSL https://app.ploybot.com/console/instalar/install.sh | sh

On Windows, from PowerShell:

irm https://app.ploybot.com/console/instalar/install.ps1 | iex

The installer picks the executable for your system and architecture, checks its SHA-256 fingerprint against the manifest the service publishes, and puts it in your user directory: ~/.local/bin on macOS and Linux, ~\bin on Windows (and adds it to your PATH). If you would rather read the script before running it, open its URL in your browser. And if you do not want to run a downloaded script, the install page also has the manual commands for each platform.

Check that it responds:

ploybot --version

If the command is not found, add ~/.local/bin to your PATH.

Point it at your account

Once:

ploybot perfil authority https://app.ploybot.com

The service announces its identity issuer itself, so you do not need to type it. The profile is stored in ~/.agent-authority/config.json and only your user can read it.

Connect your tool

ploybot install oauth <agentId>

The browser opens, you sign in with your passkey or password, and the CLI leaves that agent’s MCP configured in Claude Code, Codex or OpenCode, according to the agent’s recipe. You will find the agentId under My agents in the console.

Cursor and Claude Desktop do not need the CLI: just copy the MCP URL from My agents.

What you will use every day

ploybot tools <agentId> # the tools that agent sees
ploybot call <tool> --arg=value # call one of them
ploybot pendientes # what is waiting for your decision
ploybot uso --dias=30 # actions and amount over the last month

ploybot call asks the server which tools exist and validates the arguments against their schema, so a new operation does not require updating the CLI. And its exit code tells an executed operation apart from one waiting for approval, which is what a script needs.

Built not to leak secrets

Language, updating and uninstalling

The CLI speaks English and Spanish. It takes the language from PLOYBOT_LANG or from your terminal; commands and --json output do not change. Command names are in Spanish (perfil, pendientes, uso) in both languages.

To update, run the page’s command again. To uninstall, just delete the executable (rm ~/.local/bin/ploybot); your profile stays in ~/.agent-authority until you delete it.

Shall we try it with your agents?
